Conclusion

You made it to the end of the chapter, congratulations! Do you feel like you got to soak it all in? Perhaps you’ll need to reflect on what you’ve read a bit. After all, as you’ve learned, that’s a crucial part of the learning process. While this chapter offers some different exercises and skills you can build to refine your own learning process, they need to be put into practice to become proficient at them. It will likely take some trial and error to find what methods work best for you and how you can best use them. This is a natural part of the process. 

In my personal journey, it turned out that making SMART goals worked best for me, but that may not be the same case for you. You may find that other methods mentioned work best for you. You may even eventually find a method not listed that works best for you. The goal of this chapter isn’t to force you into using one or all of these methods, but rather to open your eyes to some of the methods that many people have found helpful in their own journeys. There is an endless list of methods you could use to refine your learning process, all of which hold their own value. We hope that you can take what you’ve learned here and apply it throughout your lifelong learning journey!
